Widening BORN applications

BORN social life: The impact of the project results can be further amplified by widening the range of BORN materials and applications. This portfolio expansion involves:
– leveraging the nucleating agent beyond PLA, also for other biobased polymers with low crystallization rate (natural polymers produced via microbial fermentation, like PHB or PHBV, or other synthetic polymers from biobased monomers, like PEF)
– widening BORN applications, to explore the possibility to use BORN formulations in agriculture, food-related consumer goods, packaging for pharmaceuticals.
